New York 2019

Cameron and I took a trip to NYC and had the best time! We got lots of massages in asian foot massage places, ate lots of good food, saw some plays, walked the city, and really had a great time. The weather wasn't the best (super rainy), but it was just the getaway we needed! Most things are pictured below, but we also went to the temple to do initiatories, which was so great. Also--we did a studio tour at NBC that was really fun too!

The first night, we just wandered around the city. We stumbled on a really cool old church and visited Magnolia Bakery too.

Breakfast at Sadelle's. Right up Cameron's alley.

Saw Dear Evan Hansen and LOVED IT. We both cried. It's one of my top musicals ever.

Eating at a yummy asian noodle place I don't remember the name of.

This is what I was wearing when Cameron said I looked like an old lady asian tourist. I was trying on the hat at a store which apparently added to the effect.

Walking the High Line.

Lots of massages.

We were so excited to see Bryan Cranston, but did not love this.

Grand Central Terminal

This is the face of someone who thinks she's about to see world-class singers perform a night of music by Eric Whitacre, conducted by Eric Whitacre, in Carnegie Hall. A lifelong dream about to be fulfilled.

And this is the photo you take when you realize you actually just paid an outrageous amount of money to watch Eric Whitacre conduct a bunch of high school seniors on their choir trip. And also you accidentally ping your phone with your watch and it's really really loud and the entire concert hall of parents is glaring at you.

Spring Break in St. George

We took a great trip to St. George for Spring Break and had a great time! We did all the usual St. George favorites plus went to Zion's for a day, which ended up being a bit of a bust--we got lost, didn't bring enough food/snacks, couldn't find parking and realized you really do have to take the shuttle, etc. But we ended up still having a great time and enjoyed being with Grandma Jean and Grandpa Mark so much.

I think this is from a hike up Snow Canyon?

A visit to Thunder Junction Park!
Wildlife watching in the backyard.

Violet loved swimming!

Grandpa Mark picked out this hat for Violet and it's her favorite. But it looks like mini golfing at Fiesta Fun is not her favorite.

Driving to Zion's!

Emerald Falls hike!

We stopped in Cedar City for lunch on the way home. Not pictured is Cameron, who somehow got pee all over his pants that was on the floor and it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen.

Jan-March 2019 Highlights

We took a fun trip in January to St. George with my parents. I had been SO SICK (pregnant) and it was a much needed reprieve. I felt so good there. Here's Violet at Fiesta Fun!
Andy posing! I think this is from a hike in Snow Canyon?

Max's pose.

Thunder Junction park!

A hike in Snow Canyon.

These two love each other so much.

Max decorated his room with our old Christmas cards and a superhero poster. :)

Max was very into dressing up.

Cameron and his friend Jair bought a shoe business, Deer Grace!

Cameron and I started a wall decal company, Modern Maxwell.

Here I am on Jan. 27! I think it's my first baby bump pic?

An Andy creation.

Singing to her baby.

Max's creativity is the best.

Andy's Valentine's box.

Another shot of Andy's cute box.

Max at his Valentine's party at school.

Max helped me make Cameron a fancy cake for Valentine's Day!

The finished project!

Another bump pic on Feb. 17.

Max started piano in Nov. '18! It's a challenge and he's a stubborn little guy, but it's going relatively well!

Andy's Jr. Jazz team!

The boys stumbled upon a snake show at our children's museum.

Another bump shot! Feb. 24

Cute Violet in Deer Grace shoes.

Max made a very questionable looking clock man. It took us a while to figure out what the green thing was. ;)

We started a scarf business, Mara Maxwell!

I had a super fun visit to Kansas City to visit Sara, Jordan, and Penny!

A March 8 bump shot! I started kind of feeling well enough to do some yoga.

Jen came to town so we had a Texas friends reunion!

Can't believe all the kids we have now!

Andy entered first Pinewood Derby. Poor guy came in second to last place, ha ha. His parents had no idea what they were doing. ;)

Max made a snowman with his buddy Warren. They played a lot together after school.

Max on his pre-school fieldtrip! He's with Brady and Avery (his love) here. He was obsessed with her the whole school year and brought her gifts all the time. At the Christmas Sing, he went up to her grandparents and told them she was his love.

Cameron spent a fortune on tall trees.

Violet took her first and last trip to Ulta with me, ha ha.

The giant trees all installed. Cameron's life is now complete.
