Fall Break 2019: Midway/Charleston

I was about to say we had the best trip with the Craguns and Thomases...however, since we all refer to it as "Pukefest 2019," you can probably guess it wasn't ideal. First of all, I was really really sick with a sinus infection. Like, crying in my bed from a sinus headache sick. I think I was taking 20 pills/day just to function. And then in the middle of the night Violet and Andy starting throwing up (while I was pumping). It was chaos. Blakely wins friend of the year award for helping clean up Andy's puke off the stairs in the middle of the night. Then a few of the other kids got the stomach bug too. So basically...it was a lot of us sitting around being sick together. I think one of the days marks the most screen time Andy has ever watched in his life--I bet 10 hours or something impressive like that. Not ideal circumstances, but we made the best of it and had the best time possible!

Baby Davis + Baby Cooper (3 days apart!)

Davis tried out the bumbo for the first time.

The house had a private pool, which was amazing!

Proof I was sick.

Violet Turns 3!

Our little lady turned 3! She woke up to a new bike (just like Maxy's) and helmet. And she had a lunch date with mom and dad to Zao.

We celebrated with the whole family a few days later with a pink unicorn party! She loved it and felt so special.

An Elsa doll from Grandma Jean and Grandpa Mark.

She got all sorts of ballet-themed things from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Greg.

How we adore you Violet!

Las Vegas with the Lees

We tagged along with Greg and Kathy to Vegas to see Greg's car sell in the Barrett Jackson auction. Cam and I just took Andy and Davis and had the best time! (Thanks to my parents for watching Max and Violet.)

First stop was the Blue Man Group, which Andy LOVED. He wouldn't take a picture with me though. Davis was a trooper with his little pink headphones.

We went to the Coca Cola store and did their taste around the world thing. It was fun to taste so many different sodas!

We stayed at The Luxor.

An afternoon at the Luxor Pools.

Madi and Andy at the Bellagio gardens.

Andy experiencing the Bellagio fountains for the first time.

We got to go see The Beatles: Love Cirque du Soleil with Brendan and Madi. Greg and Kathy were kind enough to watch the boys.

We did the High Roller Vegas for the first time.

The auction was so fun to experience!

Andy with Greg's car!

The men with the car. It didn't sell for as much as Greg wanted, but we were really proud of him.

A nice picture from breakfast.

Davis's Blessing Day

Davis Baker Lee was blessed on Sept. 29, 2019. It was the most special day! I didn't get pictures of everyone but all his grandparents were there, the Claytons, Rachel/Jake, Abby, Brendan/Madi, plus some friends: the Thomases, Craguns, and my good friend Haylie Farnsworth. It had been a hard couple months with a new baby, and it was a day that just reminded Cameron and I how blessed we are to have this special guy in our home. We were filled with gratitude and love, and it was a very special day.

A few notes I took during the blessing:
-Know of Heavenly Father's love for you. You are special to him and special to your family.
-You will be someone who can make others feel loved. You'll feel a genuine concern for those around you and that will be a huge blessing to them.
-Blessed with a desire to know Heavenly Father and to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. That will be the foundation of your life.
-You will become a great man. You will serve a mission and teach others.
-You will find a wonderful person to marry in the temple.
-You will cherish your family and put them first.
-You will bring immediate family closer together.

Wearing the same blessing outfit as Andy and Max.

Andy made this cute sign for the front door. "Happy Blessing Day Davis"

Family of 6!

Sweetest smile ever. How we love you, baby Davis!
