St. George Fall Break with the Cragun/Thomas Group

We had a blast during Fall Break in St. George with the Craguns and Thomases. We love spending time with these families and our kids play so so well together. We hardly see them ha ha. I love my besties Kasee and Lindsey so much.

These three were so cute! Venna, Avery, and Violet. Violet still asks me to do her hair "like Avery's" which means these braided pigtails.

The house had a giant hot tub, which the kids LOVED.

Bffs! Cooper and Davis

The guys went mountain biking a lot, but this is the only mountain biking related pic. The men took the older boys to the bike park. Andy and Max actually really liked it, but this is a pic of a fall/scraped elbow Max had.

We did a family hike up Snow Canyon.

Max clearly loved this hike.

Lots of swimming!

So many kids to feed at meal time.

This might be my all-time most favorite pic of darling Davis.

Nora, Max, and Hadley. These three played a lot this trip!

Family Birthday Parties for Maxy and Violet

We had such a blast celebrating Max (turning 7) and Violet (turning 4) with family! Poor Max had to deal with the leftover girly decor from Violet's friend party the day before.

This is when Rachel and Jake gave Max a recorder to torture us, his parents. We're thinking about what we can give Carson for his next birthday to retaliate.

Violet's Elsa castle from Grandma Jean and Grandpa Mark.

It was hard to talk my parents into coming (Covid), so we were glad they were there. Grandpa Mark was using a walker because he'd had a hip replacement just over a week before from his bike accident.

Cameron made the yummiest brisket so I had to take a pic!

Violet's 4th Birthday Party

This is the morning Violet turned 4! This is our present to her, though I can't remember what it was, ha ha. It looks like she also got a Lola Dutch book and another book too.

Cutest birthday girl all ready for her party! It was so fun that it happened on her real birthday. Her first friend party!

We got the prettiest princess cake made for her party.

She'd had a little (but actually pretty bad) bike accident a few weeks before and I'd really hoped her black eyes would be gone by the day of the party but they were still there. :( She still looks as lovely as a princess!

Cute friends arriving for the party! Georgia, Genevieve, Cora, Violet, Kendall, Lauryn, and Harrison.

We had special princesses come to the party! We loved having Elsa and Anna. Violet had lots of questions like how they got here and if they came by boat.

Story time was a hit! They sang songs too.

They taught the guests how to do royal dancing.

Group shot!

Cake time!

My friend Ashley Avarell came and took a lot of pics with her nice camera. It was so sweet of her.

Violet and her BFF Kinlee Avarell. Seriously for the last year plus she's said Kinlee is her best friend and favorite person in the world, so of course we had to invite her even though she's 14. :) She was sweet to dress up and play along.

The only pic of Violet and me from the day.

The sweetest pic ever of Violet and Gracie. We love you so much Violet! It was so fun celebrating you!
