Newport Beach 2022

It feels like everyone we know goes to Newport Beach for a week every summer, so we decided to join in the fun. And we absolutely loved it! We had such a great trip and fell in love with the area. We can't wait to go back!

On the night we got there we met up with Jordan and Milan Cox and their kids. We played at the beach and had yummy tacos for dinner after. Violet and Barron got along really well and had so much fun together.

In true Max fashion Max collected bird feathers and other animal related objects he found on the beach.

Lots of beach time all week! The kids loved the sodas and fun food we packed.

Andy fell in love with boogie boarding and was out there all the time. He even lost a brand new pair of glasses in the waves.

A look at Davis's gorgeous hair. Super blonde from the sun and really curly in the humidity.

The kids loved the magic show! We stayed at the Marriott Newport Villas and loved it.

We did a fun bike ride along the Newport Beach Pier.

Violet and I rode a tandem and had so much fun!

We decided to do a day at Disneyland. Don't let the pictures fool you--Cameron and I basically regretted going (it was so busy! so expensive!) and kinda wished we had just stayed at our awesome resort. But I think the kids loved it. And looking back, the pictures sure look great. :)

We did our favorite Breakfast with Minnie and loved it!

Davis was pretty terrified of every character. :)

Nice and hot on the jungle cruise.

Davis did love the princesses!

Splash Mountain is the best!

Davis all tuckered out.

I haven't been boogie boarding since I was little, but loved going back out with Andy!

We went dolphin watching and had a blast! Saw tons of them up close.

Lots of tantrums.

But also lots of smiles. :)

Violet really caught on to swimming on this trip! The resort had this pool that was the perfect depth for her so she could stand up if she needed to. It gave her the confidence to try longer distances and it turned her into a little fish.

We tried exploring the tide pools. Davis with his little map is my favorite.
