January-March 2022 Highlights

We started out the new year in St. George and stopped by our kids' favorite place, Fiesta Fun.

I think this is at the St. George Children's Museum?

Rib & Chop is a favorite! The kids love that the kids meals come in a cardboard car.

I took Violet, Andy, and Max to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Hale Center Theater. Thankfully they've inherited my love of musical theater!

Cute buddies on a ride.

Date night painting class!

I went out of town and Cameron sent me pictures of the Violet's hair after he did it. Lovely.

My sisters and I (and Ellie) on a girls trip in Vegas. It actually was quite terrible for me and it began a horrible bout of insomnia for me and a whole host of other mental health issues. But the pictures look like I had fun haha.

We went to see Katy Perry and she was SO good!

Another exceptional Cameron hairstyle.

We went to the buffet at the Paris Hotel.

We decided to chop Violet's hair and give her the cutest little bob.

I'm a sucker for a little girl with a bob.

Cutest little early reader.

Dinosaur Museum visit!

Can't handle how cute she is. Also, dressing a girl is the funnest thing ever.

Davis loves sticks and is always on the hunt for a bigger/better stick every time we're outside.

Aquarium visit! I think this is the kids' favorite museum type place to go.

Everyone loves when Abby comes over.

I had to document this real low point in my life. For many months Max has wiped boogers all over his wall by his bunk bed. I tried to have him clean them but he wasn't really able to scrub them off--they were STUCK. So--I had to spend an entire afternoon putting wet toilet paper on each one to soften them up enough that I could clean them off. What is my life? Max: you owe me.

The only picture I got from this year's crab feed. We love hanging out with the Lee clan!

Cute Max and Carson

Max was a winner in the Solo Festival! I think he played a Bartok?

Love her.

She is pure joy.

The kids love going to Yummy's! It's a fun ice cream place where they can also play free arcade games. They all love getting the Rootbeer flavor, which is an odd choice.

We went down to St. George for a soccer tournament for Andy's team, the Steel Titans. I think this was our first traveling tournament! We had a blast and really bonded with the team.

Visiting the petrified dunes in Snow Canyon is our favorite.

Davis is meant to be an outside boy.

Abby came with us! We love having her around.

They won first place in the tournament!

Little makeup expert.

Max is just the best. Always cracking us up. I love when I find little gems like this on my phone.

Violet is obsessed with Sleeping Queens these days (she calls it "Sleeping McQueens").

Andy got to go to the Lehi Rec center with his friends Jayden and Beckham.

Max got to go too! He loves Ollie and Bentley.

I think this is when we went to see Nate Bargatze live? He's one of our favorite comedians and we had such a good time.

Abby took these cute cousins to a BYU basketball game! They got J Dawgs before the game.

It was a "white out" game!

Christine and I took Grace and Violet to a U of U gymnastics meet. We all loved it! It was so fun taking our girls to do something we grew up doing.

Cameron and I took Andy and Max on a date night with us to Pizzeria 712 and then to Comedy Sportz. They boys loved it!

Max with some friends at a birthday party.

GG invited us over for her birthday.

We got new cabinets in our mudroom! This has changed my life and is the best thing ever.

Violet having a girly playdate with Nova and Remi.

I took Max, Graham, and Violet to Cubby's then to see the Descendants Musical at the Scera Theater. The kids are big Descendants fans these days and we all have every song memorized. Honestly, the music is pretty good. :)

Davis and Fordy at a Pizzeria Limone lunch date.

Happy Birthday to Greg and GG!

These two don't play often, so it must be documented when it happens.

These three are the cutest friends. I'm so grateful my kids have good friends. We love Graham and Cooper!
