Puerto Vallarta

Cameron and I took a trip to Puerto Vallarta at the end of April! Blakely and Lindsey (some of our friends) were supposed to come with us and ended up having to bail. But we still had a blast! I did a whole lot of reading, as pictured here.

This time of serenity is what we were imagining when we booked an adults only hotel. But it turns out that in this case, adults only meant party central and we felt like we were at a club 24/7. But we found our spot here nestled on the outskirts of the property and it was quiet-ish. :)

One night we took a boat and had dinner/saw a show on a private beach. It was really beautiful and fun.

The show was actually really good.

We went into town for an afternoon.

We booked a private dinner on the beach without realizing it. But it was beautiful and delicious.

Cameron talked me into a morning fishing and it was actually really fun. We had our own boat with our own captain and deckhand. Cameron caught this giant tuna.

I think this is a snapper I caught?

We booked a "luxury snorkeling tour." Turns out the snorkeling isn't great in Puerto Vallarta and we really only snorkeled for 20 min. I think the appeal for most people was the unlimited alcohol and the nice yacht. But I will always remember the incredible lunch. SO good. Lots of uncooked fish, rice, and toppings. It was the best meal we had.

The view from our room.
