Easter 2020

This year's Easter looked a little bit different than normal, but we still had a great day. We couldn't be with much extended family (dang Covid), but Abby ended up coming and spending the day with us. She'd had to come home early from her study abroad in Jerusalem because of Covid. We still dyed eggs and the Easter Bunny still came. We did our own outdoor egg hunt this year (something we usually do with cousins). We had a great time doing home church and sent out a recording of us singing "Risen," to family members. So grateful for our Savior and that He is Risen. The photos uploaded backwards but oh well:

I still made the kids get dressed up and do Easter outfits/pictures.

Opening up their eggs from our outdoor hunt on Easter afternoon!

They loved the hunt!

She loved getting all dressed up and wearing an Easter dress.

Baby Davis in a bonnet!!!

Abby helped Violet get all ready.

What the Easter Bunny brought!

We always love dying eggs.

Jan-March 2020 Highlights

Some sort of basketball game the big kids went to?!

Jordon, Sara, and Blair lived here in January and it was the best!

Zoo trip!

The polar bear was so fun to watch! So active. I love watching them swim.

We let Andy have a late night with some friends! We played Quiplash (their answers were so funny...every single one was poop or fart related), had pizza and ice cream, and just had a great time!

Playing a Frozen Matching Game.

Andy played Junior Jazz.

A paper Andy wrote that cracked me up.

Cameron got a CPAP!

FINALLY: Andy lost his first tooth. At age 8.5.

Sweetest snuggle!

One of those early spring walks that feels like magic. It felt so good to finally be outside and feel the sun a little!

Little did we know...within a week the world would be shut down because of Covid. :(

Andy's cute Valentine's Box

This is really a covid pic...Max had to go around the house and label things for a school assignment.

Cutest brothers reading about dinos.

Violet and I went to the launch party for Lola Dutch: I Love You So Much. This is the author reading it to the kids! It's become one of our favorite books. They even wrote a message to Violet in her copy.

We made cupcakes after hearing the book. We went with dance friends and had such a fun time!
